Central London CCG use Envisage to improve patient education

Central London CCG recently installed the Envisage waiting room TV and patient call system into all of their GP practices.

The system allows clinicians and nurses to call patients to their appointment via their patient medical record system. However, it also enables practices to educate, inform and promote their local services and information to patients.

In addition to this, the CCG have used the Envisage Share feature to create a playlist of content that shares their messages to all practices in the CCG. This displays in rotation with content added by the practice themselves and cannot be modified by them.

This playlist can be updated and amended from the CCG head office as many times as required and once changed, the information is updated on practice screens instantaneously.

“The practices can tailor their playlist to suit their specific requirements advertising their clinics, services and various local campaigns whilst the CCG can place specific important videos onto the individual screens which align to their health information priorities.”

Numed helped the CCG create a range of content to help share their messages with patients. All of this content was branded with the Central London CCG logo and colouring. This meant that the CCG was able to develop a range of branded videos in line with their health information priorities at a minimal cost.

A folder was created in the Envisage Media App which only the CCG and Central London practices could access and the branded videos were placed in this folder once completed for those users to access. Content could also be shared by the CCG using Envisage Share if required.
