New Envisage Media – Autumn 2022

By November 7, 2022No Comments

We have recently added a range of new content to our Envisage waiting room TV system to help you educate patients and promote health awareness in the waiting room.

This new content includes videos on back pain, flu vaccinations and the latest NHS Winter Vaccination and Help Us Help You campaigns. Access to all of this content is included as part of the Envisage waiting room TV package. Please contact us here to find out more.

Back Pain

Back pain, particularly in the lower back, is very common and can be very debilitating. It often improves by itself after a few weeks, but sometimes it can last longer or keep coming back.

Our latest Back Pain video explains to patients the most common signs and symptoms of back pain, and what they can do to help manage the condition at home and speed up their recovery. There is also guidance as to when they should ask for further help.

Flu Vaccination 2022

Flu is an unpredictable but recurring pressure that the NHS faces every winter. Vaccination offers the best protection, and encouraging as many eligible people as possible to get vaccinated is essential to reducing these pressures.

We’ve just added a range of new flu vaccination videos to our Envisage Media Library to help educate patients about the importance of getting vaccinated against flu this winter. This includes videos on both the regular flu and child flu nasal vaccinations.

NHS Winter Vaccinations Campaign

The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) recently launched its Winter Vaccinations Campaign to highlight the need for eligible groups to get vaccinated against both flu and Covid-19 this winter.

We’ve just added the official ‘Boost Your Immunity this Winter’ TV advertisement to our Envisage Media library to help support the campaign. The advert explains to eligible groups the importance of getting vaccinated this winter, and the need for having a booster even if they’ve already been vaccinated before.

Help Us Help You – Lung Cancer Symptoms

NHS England recently relaunched its ‘Help Us, Help You – Lung Cancer Symptoms’ campaign. The aim of the campaign is to increase awareness of the key symptom of lung cancer – a cough that lasts for three weeks or more, and to encourage those who have this symptom to contact their GP practice.

The campaign is targeted at people over the age of 60 who are more at risk of lung cancer. It is specifically aimed at those from C2DE socio-economic groups. It also targets friends and family members to help encourage them to contact their GP practice.
