Stoptober 2017 media now available for Envisage

Stoptober is back for 2017 and encourages smokers across England to attempt to quit smoking for 28 days during October.

People who stop smoking for 28 days are five times more likely to quit for good. Stoptober has encouraged over 1 million quit attempts to date and is the biggest mass quit attempt in the country. It is now part of the wider One You programme. One You is Public Health England programme that helps adults across the country make small changes to their lifestyles that can have a big impact on their future health.

Those adults who sign up for Stoptober will have access to additional support and advice via the official app, e mail and Facebook.There a lots of ways to quit and people can choose what works for them. They will also get support from the thousands of other quitters across the country!
